Salesforce Business Analyst – Sales Enablement

Location: New York City, NY

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our Sales Enablement team and serve as a strategic partner between business stakeholders and the CRM technology organization. This individual will work closely with sales leadership, cross-functional business teams, and the VP of CRM Platforms to identify opportunities for process improvement, optimize Salesforce capabilities, and drive initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise with deep Salesforce knowledge and excels at translating business needs into scalable CRM solutions that support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Enablement leadership and key stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and CRM needs.
• Act as a strategic advisor by recommending Salesforce solutions and process improvements that align with business goals.
• Work closely with the VP of CRM Platforms to support CRM strategy, roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution of key initiatives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate current sales processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, data quality, and user adoption within Salesforce.
• Facilitate backlog grooming, prioritization sessions, and requirements reviews with stakeholders and development teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate delivered solutions, and ensure business requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, business requirements documents, user guides, and release communications.
• Monitor Salesforce adoption and gather user feedback to drive continuous improvement and platform optimization.
• Assist with change management initiatives and support end-user training efforts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting business and technology initiatives.
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a strong understanding of Sales Cloud functionality and best practices.
• Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders and executive leadership to define and deliver strategic CRM solutions.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, business analysis, and documentation experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
