Proposal Writer

North South Consulting Group, LLC is a full-service government contracting firm seeking a skilled proposal writer. In this role, you will develop high-quality, clear, and compelling technical proposals in response to government and commercial solicitations. This is a 100% remote role with the possibility for occasional in person meetings at our corporate office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and write high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and showcase our company's strengths.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and reader-friendly content that aligns with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Work closely with subject matter experts, other teams, and project managers to gather necessary information and ensure technical accuracy in proposals.
• Review and refine proposal content for clarity, grammar, and compliance, ensuring a consistent and professional tone.
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to enhance proposal content and strategy.
• Maintain organized records of proposal content, templates, and past submissions for future reference and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in technical writing or proposal development, within the government contracting sector.

Skills

• Exceptional writing and editing abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to comprehend and articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proposal management tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
